    Remote access to PC

I need to access my home computer from a remote location. Can anyone recommend software which would allow me to do this?

I need full control, through the mouse and keyboard - not just remote access to files. I've used Radmin in the past which would be fine but it's a commercial application - am hoping there's a good free one out there that someone can recommend!

I've heard one advertised on the radio called gotomypc. Don't know if it's any good or not.

logmein is excellent and i've tried most of them. Ten times easier than VNC, and faster too

Windows live 11 comes with some software called mesh it says it lets you take control not used it though. Also remote assistance does the same? Just send an email to yourself .

You don't need any extra software, Windows comes with a remote access tool as standard, called Remote Desktop. 'Tis an absolute godsend I find, especially since it makes your Windows PC accessible by pretty much any platform, even including Windows Mobile.

thanks for the info guys, will check out all your suggestions. The Windows built in feature might be the way to go as I may not have admin privileges on the remote PC so there's a possibility I won't be able to install the client portion of the software..
