    Remove Stains from Car Seats

Does anyone know how to remove stains from car seats?

I think its a drink that was spilt! I bought a foam from Halfords yesterday but its rubbish and hasn't lifted the stain at all!

    Thanks!

Waiting for comments about stains on car seats...! =)

A drink you say..........yea yea, we all believe you.

Best bet is a valeting place (the Polish/Serbian hand car wash chaps). They will take out just the stain for a couple of quid.

As it was advertised, wash it with "FEBREZE":)

i usually just use the foam carpet stain remover sprays.

    The joys of dogging, eh?

I would use what as tdogg mentions

It can be a messy business!

    Thanks for the replies guys!

Wipe it on the curtains, I know I do!

Not sure on removal but once done invest in some supaguard protection, you can get a full kit for about £20 and its the same stuff that main dealers charge £250 ish for on a new car.

Really easy to apply and you can do the carpets, upholstery and paintwork with the kit.

We use it on new rugs and it really does stop stains from staying as it keeps stuff on the surface.

I'd like to say a big thanks to whoever removed my Dogging post - it was of equal appropriateness as this post, yet this remains. Thanks! :\

    you know it was funnnnny!

I used vanish carpet and upholstery cleaner after I spilt hot chocolate in my car. It got rid of the horrible smell of off milk (thank goodness) but did stain the seat so it looks like it has a wet patch, so whatever you do get I would suggest you try a small amount of the cleaner on a hidden spot in case it stains it even worse than it is at the moment.

    AutoGlym Interior Shampoo

same here. spilt tango or sommat and it stained. used some cheepie stain remover foam thing, and the blimmin thing made a bigger stain.. also looks like a wet patch with an accentuated 'rim'. its on the passenger seat so whenever i give someone a lift, i feel obliged to explain the 'stain'. tut
