Who is officially able to remove a comment from a thread? I've just posted in one pointing out a mistake someone had made. It was neither offensive nor patronising. So who and why basically?

Only the person posting a comment or a member of the MOD/Admin Team can remove thread comments. We can still view them, they are only removed from member view.

With trade threads where members post info or help not connected to offers, unfortunately if there are too many posts they act as thread bumps which are unfair on other listings, so DUP comments etc can often be removed. Thanks
