I applied for a new passport online . Filled in everything correctly . Uploaded successful digital photos of myself and paid the £75.50.
I then got a text to send my old passport to HM passports . I did this the next day first class two weeks ago. Tonight I get a text saying we are still waiting for your old passport . I can only assume it's been lost in the post so what happens next . Would I have to appear in person to get my renewal or not . They have all the relevant info of the old passport as that had to be listed when I applied for the renewal . So stressful and no I did not send it signed for and just first class post
