Renewing Prime Student

I have just got round to renewing my Student Prime, i sent them a photo of my NUS card like i have done previous years but got this reply:

I'm sorry I couldn't register you for Prime Student, because the document you shared is a TOTUM “Pro” cards and my apologies but they are not accepted (as it’s for non-higher education purposes).

The regular TOTUM card is fine as it is a replacement for our standard NUS Extra Card:

Any idea what this is about? I have never had a problem with this card for the past few years?

Can you not just use your email address ? long as it is .ac.uk its not normally an issue ?

Infact if you are already prime student does it not just last for 4 years ? (inc yearly renewal at £39.99) (edited)

It seems as though they no longer accept TOTUM Pro as valid ID. They only accept the standard TOTUM card for higher education students.

I don’t have an email. Mine does not auto renew for some reason, I have to submit my TOTUM card every year. Worked last year but now states they don’t accept TOTUM Pro (edited)

It’s true they don’t accept them anymore. On the actual TOTUM website, in the Prime student section it says:

“Not available to TOTUM PRO members.” (edited)

Have you done this for longer than 4" years? After this student option no longer is available I think

Separately, does anyone know how you can verify Student Beans? Are there any free or cheap courses you can sign up to which work as evidence of course enrolment? TOTUM Pro doesn’t work as evidence either…
