    Retro Style DAB Radios?

The wife wants one for Xmas. Any idea what brands to avoid and what sort of tech I should look for?

    Thanks

I saw a Maxtek one in Aldi yesterday for 29.99. I bought a Maxtek wireless AMP speaker and that had good sound and build quality. Maybe their DAB radio is of the same standard.

You could bag a cheap retro View Quest at 3 Monkeys on eBay.

This model has all the bells and whistles including Bluetooth

If you're going for a top of the range model look at the Pure range.
The Pure D2 is well recommended but pricey. Example at Argos

Thanks, but don't want a refurb one a jukebox style one.

Very have an offer just now for the Roberts mini DAB, £99 and rather cute. Not a startling bargain, but maybe the style you want. Roberts are generally good, though you could check the reviews. very.co.uk/rob…o2/
Sorry, just tried the link and it was a bit dodgy. Just google Roberts DAB!
