Returning Oculus to Argos

Can someone help me with what I can do. I purchased an Oculus for my nephews birthday. He pretty much feels nauseous and sick everytime he plays it so I decide to return it. The store refuses to accept it back even though it only been six days since purchase. I'm at a loss here as I have no interest in using and was even told my online chat who was very rude btw to sell it online to see if I can make some money back.

Is there an excuse I can use to make it seem like the product is faulty or should I try a different store.
