    Returns Policy for Play.com

    Anyone know the returns policy, tried with no success, to find out what the return policy is.

    Basically i'm a Large in jackets, but as sizes differ, I was unsure whether to get an XL, so wanted to know, if I ordered a Large an it did't fit, and i just wore it for size, could i return it back or not

    * We will only refund delivery costs if the return is a result of our error.
    * We cannot refund or exchange an opened item unless it is faulty, or if the item was sent to you through our error.

    eeerrrmm! so basically if its my error i can't return, well they wouldn't lose any money as i like the jacket and would only ask for a size up?!

( within 7 days) although I think if its a case of you dont want the item or change your mind, you have to pay the return postage



    I thought as much, but could't find the size for the jacket in cms etc..

If that requires opening the packaging and trying out the goods then they have not breached their duty to take reasonable care of the goods. In these circumstances sellers cannot insist that consumers return the goods as new or in their original packaging. Sellers may ask consumers to return goods with the original packaging, but sellers cannot insist on this.

    Play are based in Jersey - not sure if Channel Islands DSRs are the same as UK ones.

    why don't you find the jacket in a retail store, try it or try the same brand of jackets to get a feel for size then purchase the correct one on play

    They reference DSRs in the T&Cs so they would apply plus I am sure their returns address is in oxford so it will apply as they operate in the Uk

    You can return it, I've done his before; a tee I bought as a medium was too tight & I return & got a large no problem, I just sent customer services & they gave me an address to send it to & a reference number.

    They even refunded me the cost of returning it.
