    Returns Policy @Jessops

My mum bought a camera from Jessops yesterday, plus a case, memory card and accidental damage cover. However just been having a browse on line and there is a slightly better version of the camera for £5 more (she bought 10mp, and on net there is a 12mp).

I have never had any dealings with Jessops, what are they like for exchanges? (don't want a refund just pay the difference for better spec.)

I don't have the receipt to check policy, had a quick look online and it seems to be based around the internet sales.

    jessops, terrible for returns,

anyway, the 10 or 12 megapixel wont make any difference in the same camera, its all about lens and image noise

perhaps tell a white one, say it, turns off by itself sometimes or something they cant really test for, or the charger gets too hot and you are concerned

Cheers, might just bob in and ask anyways.

Shockingly..I bought a camera from them a while ago, then saw one cheaper at Comet (or something). I had checked out offers, but this one had just come on...anyway, needless to say I went for a refund. They were happy to do so, but maybe only because the camera I bought off them seemed to be an ex display and the manual was missing... (non of which I realised till I was home) .. BUT they did happily refund. I'm sure you would have no problems... Just ring up before hand saying it is not the camera you want and I'm sure they will.

A branded decent 7MP will be a million times better than a generic 12MP every single time, no competition in it.Congratulations on been a sucker for marketing hype though.

Thanks for that. It is a fuji camera so not unbranded. I was led to believe that the higher MP the better for producing larger prints. Which is what I would be wanting to do. I personally already have a 5MP Praktica camera and it is truly shocking my 2MP camera phone takes better picture. I thought the extra 2MP may be worth it for the extra £5, it's not like its and extra £30.
