You should be self-motivated by now I'm afraid. No-one can do it for you.

should be, and yes they are. But even those don't motivate me! ARGH!

Take a look at how many people are on the dole and imagine yourself on £50 a week!
If that doesn't motivate you, nothing will i'm afraid

Go do a job for 8 hours that you hate that is hard work. Maybe gardening or decorating a room. If you dont do well at UNI that is what your life will be like everyday unless you're going to be a dole scrounger.
    I promise it will help.

i'm in the same position really - especially as i've got points in the bag - can get a D in Economics and still get an A

only doing past papers atm. will do alot more when i finish school next week (after party on park!)

See I'm like that in Business I can get an E in Business and get an A overall.
But in economics I need a little better, but it's so hard to motivate myself to revise!

How about being able to buy whatever you want in 5 years time? That got me through it.

If you have Sky Sports or whoever it is that has the cricket test matches these days (back in my day it was on Channel 4 so didn't cost anything) put that on in the background and stay in that room, that way there's enough of a distraction when something happens to keep you entertained but the rest (majority) of the time you can get your head down! Unless you're specifically looking up something online, don't go anywhere near the Internet too...I don't know how much you need online access for revision these days

At the very worst you'll come out of it understanding cricket a lot more...:whistling:

Do what Im doing. Wait 6 months then study tonight for your exam. Surprisingly, Im still at Uni and on my way to 4th year...

i'd need over 90 on this module for that. with this module not being my best (by a fair way) its not looking likely. will very happily settle for an A and concentrate on Maths and History...

i always found study timetables worked well for me. decide how many hours per day you would like to achieve then plan it out in blocks of 30 or 60 mins then do that for the whole week. Ie on a monday you study economics from 6-630 then 6.70-7 you do XYZ then 7-7.30 something else. that way you arent just sitting around not knowing where to start.

If you need more motivation promise yourself something at the end of each week if you stick to all your studying. like a night off to play on PC/XBOX/PS3, a night out etc. Its just like a reward chart but for bigger kiddies. :-D

to a certain point i agree with you but i think it depends what sort of career you want. Also the other side is a degree doesnt always get you a job either.
