Ring stuck on finger

My wedding ring is stuck on my finger and I have tried almost everything, but am not able to remove it. I have read on a website that the binding of a ring around the finger may act as a tourniquet and cause permanent damage to the finger if not removed promptly.

I have decided that I have to now go to the local jewellers and get the ring cut.

I have a H Samuels & a F Hinds store locally - which one should I go to first.

Do they charge to cut the ring. If yes, then how much? I am not sure which store to go to first.

Any advice would be highly appreciated.
