I have a contract with EE which comes with free roaming in Europe as I signed up before the deadline.

no idea why it's not working. was I supposed to do something before arriving to Italy?
I thought it would just be automatic. I have pixel 6 Pro.
If anyone can help me out please that would be much appreciated.

Is there something I can do to activate roaming while I'm here? I do have the EE on my phone

    Did a rapid google to see if there's anything you needed to do and found this:

    Basically:

    If you're a pay monthly customer on any plan, you will need to check roaming is set up before you travel. There are a few ways to check if you have roaming set up, and some steps to help you if you don't.
    • Text ROAMING to 150 – you'll receive a text with details about your roaming status and how to activate roaming if needed.
    • Call Customer Services and choose options 1, 2 and 4 - the automated system will let you know if roaming is active and help you set it up if it's not.
    • In your My EE account online go to Menu > Account Settings > Parental and Data Controls > Enable Roaming and also Make calls abroad from the UK > They will show as ticked if roaming and calling abroad is activated.
    It can take up to 24 hours to become active on your account, so it's important to set it up before you travel.

    Always a good idea to do a restart when roaming too.

    you could also try going into the mobile data settings and check to see whether data roaming is turned on.

    When you say 'I do have the EE on my phone', what do you mean by this?

    Do you have any connection to italian networks like wind, tim, vodafone etc?

    I can see those networks but forbidden , I mean I have the EE app on my phone , it's a monthly contract 160 GB still don't have roaming
