Will this void my warranty? Really dislike Nougat after updating on Sunday.

what do you dis-like so much? I don't think there's that much difference really, and really can't understand what all the fuss about nougat.

I preferred the easier access in Marshmallow, preferred the top bar which wasn't so stretched.

I've just put it on my Moto G4, and don't think it's that much different really.
But back to your question, I don't see why it should void your warranty, if it came with marshmallow it shouldn't be a problem if you roll it back again, (although I know you can't officially do it).

is it really work bricking your phone by messing with it I not that keen on nugart but I'm sure I'll get used to it

That's what's stopping me. The process is simple enough and I did it loads of times on my S4 but I don't want to void the warranty. The website above doesn't mention anything about tripping the warranty counter.

I'd also like to know why you don't like it? But then I'm on a Nexus, so I'm not sure if the changes Samsung make are the same as the stock Google changes.
I hated the Samsung OS on all the phones I've tried, the Google ones are sooo much more logical and easier to use/navigate.

From personal experience I can tell you that the Scamdung warranty isn't worth the paper it is written on!

Why not see if you can find a marshmallow launcher from the play store. Might solves your problem

Nougat has ruined the notification area on s7

Any unofficial flashing on a Samsung device risks tripping their KNOX security. Once that's tripped it's game over on the warranty, and there's no way to reset KNOX.

Maybe try a launcher as above and skin that back to MM. . .

I Fort that was the case

Thanks dudes, looks like I will try a launcher, really don't update to Nougat, the changes mean more scrolling.

Odin flashing an official Samsung rom didn't used to ever affect nox or the download count, is this not still the case.

You can install any stock firmware and it won't void warranty!

It might not be a straightforward as flashing with ODIN if the bootloader has been updated and can't be rolled back. It won't trip KNOX either way but it could brick the handset.

I've gone back to an S7 Edge since Nougat - I think it looks way better, hated the Touchwiz before this. I just guess it goes to show you can't please all of the people all of the time!
