What's meant by your quote being mostly based on your test drives (in your own car with your current insurance) is that they state that they don't base it as much on things like age, etc, as other insurers. I actually got a quote from them, which I accepted, that was half, I.e. £1600 less, than my previous one). I think this could be really good for younger drivers, like me, and certain other groups for the reason mentioned in the title and also the fact that it doesn’t require fitting a black box or any monitoring of your driving, actually, apart from the test drives
