Does anyone know where I can buy good root beer from like the one mcdonalds used to sell? ASDA do a Carter's version but it's not that good. There is an American store in Liverpool one shopping centre but @£1.50 per can its expensive. Can anyone help??

Amazon do 12 for £12.08.
Mug Root Beer Variety Pack incudes 4 x Mug 4 x Barq's and 4 x Aandw (Pack of 12)
Sodastream do 12 litres for £4.29 on Amazon
Not sure bout the rest but the only one I drink is the A&W one. It's very popular from where I am originally from. Kinda shocked that its really pricey here.
Barq's are the supplier to McDonald's in USA.
Barq's are owned by Coca Cola
Aw one is in bigger tescos in the foreign isle
Argos sell the soda stream one for £2.99 with free delivery and I think it taste nice not the best but your not going to get 12 litres for much cheaper
Bundaberg root beer available at Waitrose. I used to love the McDonalds one and think this is pretty close. Also available at Costco if you have access to there.
Cheers guys I think waitrose is best option I don't have soda stream I think there should be a petition fir mcdonalds to bring root beer back!! It was the best drink ever!!!

Does this taste anything like the Macdonalds one. I buy Carters which isn't anywhere near as nice but don't have anything else local to choose from.

Not at my Costco sadly.
Can't really remember the Mc's one to tell the truth it's been something like 15 years since i last had one, if i can get hold a&w rootbeer (but at £2 a can at cyber candy not often) i will get it, Dad's rootbeer is almost as good, I find it's best in a tall glass over ice, all i can say is give it a try.

Thanks. Offer on at Amazon just have to ask other half to part with his cash for 24 cans. Yes with ice is the best.
Seems to be a lot of root beer lovers around
Indeed, anyway i just ordered a pack from Amazon, be the 2nd lot i have had from them.
Well jell
The Bundaberg Root Beer from Waitrose is my choice. It's usually £4.49 for 4 bottles which are slightly more than a typical can. Now and then they have special offers on for £2.99 so I stock up.

Barq's is another decent one but you're paying stupid import prices to get it, even from Amazon.

A&W is pretty much generic stuff and while it's ok, I would purchase them in bulk unless you tried one. It tastes too... carbonated, if that makes sense.
You can always get B&W Root Beer from pretty much all oriental supermarkets... and If you have a Wing Yip near you they have more varieties as well.

Their cream soda is pretty good too =P

I have one of these supermarkets near me and was wondering how much does a can cost there please.
Can't remember off the top of my head, but they sell them in boxes as well... I think 24 cans for £12-ish?

Could be wrong... It's been awhile! They do sell them individually, but can't remember the price either I'm afraid,

Sorry!
I usually buy my root beer from AmericanGrocery.co.uk but they haven't been so competitive since they got taken over a few months back. That's one place to try anyway.

If you're desperate for a quick-fix, Waitrose do small bottles of Bundaberg, which is nice but expensive.
