how much would it roughly cost to move a garage 5.34m(17’6) x 2.91m(9’7) forward in line with the house, so we can have a bigger garden?

sorry about my paint skills.
also it would need a new roof done as it overlaps the side of the house slightly
I would say around 6-8k

thanks mate
What's it made of?
32 courses high for single story approx
24 bricks long 768
13 bricks wide 832
gable 384
+ 5% damage and breakages =2084 bricks needed
blocks 2084/6 =348 blocks needed

1kg of mortar per brick so roughly 3 tonnes of sand

roughly 20 bags of cement

wall ties 1 box

should get you started lol

you will need floor and roof timbers

you may get away with the original garage door

roof tiles,felt batton and nails

concrete floor and footings

planning permission

insulation

electrics?

labour costs
go through the list shouldnt take to long.

oh and damp course and furfix for connecting to original house

This is funny, your asking for a estimate on HUKD lol.
The OP is funny, all for the wrong reasons.
is it really worthwhile?

it could be worthwhile because at the same time if it is double story you can get an extra room on the house

But surely by the time you've done that, you could just move into a bigger house?
When you start adding it all up?

Could always be hoping for a miss price somewhere or even a discount code with free delivery X)

Why dont you just extend the fence? save ££££££

we have already done that. this photo was off google maps, but hasnt been updated i guess
If you're planning to go on top of the garage , I wouldn't waste money moving the garage until you're ready for the complete build.
Flatten the garage and put in one of these.
