Royal Mail

Has anybody used Royal mail to send any parcel containing electronic goods..TV to be specific.. What is the cheapest option to use to send a LCD 16kg TV to Uk mainland ?

I sent a sewing machine with RM, it got there ok.

I'm not sure if they are the cheapest though.

I would go with a personal currier rather than Royal Mail to be honest with the amount of mail they loose each year, would you not rather have it safly delivered rather than cheaply

I've used the above several times. Pick up from home (or wherever), overnight delivery, insured option, tracked every inch of the way with e-mail updates. All at a price much cheaper than Royal Mail

Better of using a courier for around £7, delivery 1-2 days, insured and tracked.
