royal mail help

I need to put in a claim for a lost package with royal mail. I posted a dual shock 3 controller back to someone on here (which wasn't working). Royal mail have lost the package, I therefore have to claim my money back. I have now lost the money for the controller and the controller.

I have no till receipt to prrove what these are worth.

Can anyone tell me where I go from here please

You have to print out the transaction to show how much the buyer paid, regardless of its worth RM will only pay out what the buyer paid + postage

hang in there it will turn up

I sent the item back to the seller. Now I have completely lost

Sorry, misread. I really don't know hun sorry.

EDIT: Actually could you not just print out the original amount you paid for it, your transaction details, would they not suffice?

£20 down plus no controller which was proven to be a fake.

Whilst I feel sympathy for you, I must say that it wasn't proven to be a fake.

Wasn't proven no. But all that was wrong (which I posted in the thread) point to being a fake. I feel fleeced hurt and very upset right now

Filling out the compensation form now anyways

I bought a t shirt on Ebay which turned out to be a fake so I was sending it back and it got lost. I sent the receipt and paypal payment form that I had been emailed and said that I was returning it for a refund. I was fully compensated by the Royal Mail. I hope this reassures you.

Yeah it's all fine now, just rang royal mail. I sent them the initial paypal receipt I paid for the item, they receved it and processed it. Just written to the resipient to check they haven't received the item in the mean time. Got to ring them on 15th May if heard nothing by then.
