ryanair policy / probs with retn segment

hello all - anyone know or hear of having problems with only using the return segment of a Ryanair flight? i.e. not using the outbound but taking the inbound? Thanks. (this relates to those 1p bargains they gave a while back...)

AFAIK, there should be no problems as most of the low cost airlines count each flight as one sector rather than a whole trip. For example, say you buy a ticket with BA but don't fly on the outbound trip and try to fly back with it, your ticket will not be valid as it will have been recorded that you did not fly the outbound flight.
Ryanair operate point to point flights meaning that each sector is priced separately and therefore a return trip is classed as 2 separate flights

I would agree, that is certainly the case with BMI Baby.

Thanks guys, that's my understanding too, but thought I'd put it out there to see if anyone has had any specific experience of Ryanair trying to refuse them on a retn segment. Unless I hear of such a case, I'll work on the assumption that all will be well.
