You can unlock your phone by following these instructions properly. I have done and it DOES work!
Follow these simple instructions -
I have sometimes ended up in German Language but the phone was unlocked
How to change from German to English
Menu --> Settings (Last Icon - 3rd Row -- 3rd Column)--> Language ( 3rd Line ) --> Text Language(Line1 -- Change to English) & Input Mode (Line2 -- Change to English)
1. First do a CUSTOM reset: *2767*2878# (star 2767 star 2878 hash) and then turn off the phone.
2. Take out the battery and sim and put wrong network SIM and insert a HALF of it,ie half in and half out and slip the battery in behind it. This is important so it won't ask for network password and shows "Insert SIM" message.
3. Now put the battery ,and switch the phone on (phone shows "Insert SIM" message).
4. Without turning off the phone, push the sim fully in. At this stage the phone is still asking to "Insert SIM"
5. Make a FULL reset by typing: *2767*3855# (star 2767 star 3855 hash)
6. The phone should reboot working with "wrong" sim inside.
7. Make a Change the NCK password to 8 zeros by typing: *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
(star 7465625 star 638 star 8zeros star 8zeros hash)
8. Now Disable network lock By typing: #7465625*638*00000000# (hash 7465625 star 638 star 8zeros hash)
9. You can check the unlock has worked by typing this in *#7465625# (star hash 7465625 hash) This gives you a menu that you can scroll through.
The only thing I would add to the above clear instructions is in step 4, what you need to do is with the phone on carefully lift the battery at the SIM end ensuring that you do not break the electrical contact with the phone at the other end. This gives you the bit of room to get a small flat headed screwdriver under the battery to push the half in SIM fully in.
Also on step 6: my phone took about 10 seconds to go from the full reset confirmation message to starting a reboot, so be a little patient between steps, it does not reboot instantaneously.

you would start crying about how much you spend on unlock boxes lol.
still wearing glasses and spiky hair?
I have tried the info you gave and so far I can get to point 6 with the fone rebooting with the new sim in.
Once I get to the stage of changing the password by entering *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
I am not able to enter any zero's after the 638* as this comes up with the - sign.
Are you able to give me some more details please on how to get round this??
Many thanks.
Sonnypon

I don't see why people think getting paid stupid quantities of profit for clicking a button is a god given right.
Most of the unlocking places where I live (i.e every one other than one) cannot even do basic repairs (Dunno how that is at all professional). Cannot even resolder a sdcard socket on (I managed it with a hairdryer and great difficulty but with the right solder station it would have been easy.)
Don't mind paying for people who make the software. (Or 100% profit on top of the direct costs) i.e max of €2 (For dcunlocker operation that costs one credit). £5 for a testpoint setool (+ 15$ for credits).
Unlock pretty much anything for £250 (ipmart including import duty pay less if you get it in bits).
I think what I have spent has paid for itself already. (Won't pay for dcunlocker rip off - the trick it uses for Huawei Android I think I can work out. (And release a free unlock method).
I've invested in SE and Samsung Unlocker, total of £200. The SE is carp but the sammie one works great. However I do see it as an investment purely for my use but if it was used to turn a profit in a 'professional' capacity I would charge for the job.
People only get miffed because many older phone could be done for free and you can jail break things like iPhones for free.
An old lady in my village had one of these phones that came up with "phone locked". Searched and found this thread.
I literally pulled out the sim and did the steps 1 to 7 and step 9 and then powered off the phone and pushed in the sim and powered on again. It worked.
Thank you. This lady was distraught that she thought she had locked her phone and lost her credit. Her daughter (38 year old!) had played with it and could not remember how she had locked it! This solved everything - Huge thanks.
Ian.
