Found 4th Oct 2010
Evening all,

I have a bit of a problem with my surround sound and ps3 connection problem..

i have my ps3 connected to the Samsung HW-C560S home cinema system and before everything was working fine but i have come accross a bit of a problem now. when playing fifa i get sound as normal but i dont get any commentry.

when i try changing the different sound options (movie, matrix, music etc) just one msg keeps coming up on the amp saying not supported...

any ideas anyone?

i spent the last couple of hours trying to figure this out but nothing yet!

somethings changed...settings on PS3 I guess. Try checking the actual PS3 settings rather than FIFA settings. Amp isnt the problem....if it was you wouldnt get any sound

That's because it's not on pro logic mode which those settings support. Your PS3 is deffo outputting a non PL source, does it show HDMI? Your PS3 settings need to be looked at, go into the settings and see what format it is outputting the sound.
