I'm sure that's what I've already found ;-) Thanks for reposting it though!

Also, if ebuyer ends up my only option... does anyone know if a google checkout discount is available currently?

Hi I bought one of these 2 weeks ago from Comets when it was £249.99 instore. I told them I had seen it on the web for £216.00 and they price matched it, perhaps you should try them first.

Just a side note, look out for the retailers policy on dead pixels, my first one had one stuck white pixel, Comet quickly replaced it with a new monitor and gave me a loaner while I was waiting, now that is good customer service.

Just looked at Comets, its now £219.99 surely its a lot better paying an extra £8.00 to have face to face contact with good customer service, rather than the aggro of dealing over the web. Some etailers are terrible with there dead pixel policies.

thanks, rep given!

I got it from play.com in the end. I had a varsity card allowing 5% off and quidco of 4% making this £200! :-D good times

How did you guys find the backlight and the viewing angles. Im sending my 226bw back to ebuyer this week under the DSRegs coz mine is awful. I had a belinea 20" that was always amazing, could view from almost any angle and never had any sign of dead pixels in 1 1/2 years. This samsung... well as soon as you move any angle other than straight on is abismal. Also the backlight bleed on the top, bottom, left and right of the screen is bad ,so much so that on a movie all you get is white edges. Oh and dont mention the dead black pixel and grubby finger marks.

For a monitor that states its the best selling, newest and greatest 22" i seriously find that doubtful. Now do i get another one and see if this was a one off or do i go back to the cheaper but always done me proud belinea ?

well I have only ever had one LCD previous to this, and that was a few years ago now. But this seems much the same really, left and right angles are OK for me, but looking down and below isn't that good. But then again I'm looking straight on normally so no problems here.

Got to set it up too, this is just from the factory settings, could be a bit less brighter IMO so will have a fiddle over the weekend.
