Samsung S2 8.0 tablet memory leak when accessing ebay.co.uk

Seem to be any browser I use suffers from the same issue. If I open a few tabs from eBay the browser freezes and asks if I want to close within a minute. I stopped using Chrome a while ago because that would judder which I thought has something to do with all the pictures for listings, now using Opera. But all browsers I use have this issue.

Seems to get progressively worse after first crash. First crash may be due to 10-15 tabs, then after close and reopen a couple of tabs might make it crash.

Tablet has decent specs so no idea why it's happening. Tried full reset, but get the same thing.

    Any ideas?

21gb used of 32gb. I always use desktop mode. Tablet has 3gb of ram and it will pretty much eat up all available memory. I know it's kind of meant to do that anyway and free up stuff when something else needs it. I Just managed to have 5 tabs open, buy a few stuff and close it all with no issues, but other times it comes to an instant holt

I get the same issue on both ebay and gumtree (same owners) and no other sites.

There's not enough resources to run in desktop mode without shutting down additional apps to free up memory. Switch to mobile mode in the browser to optimise the poor thing.

It's powerful enough to run every other site. Not willing to keep going in and out of desktop/mobile mode all the time.

Grab an add blocker and probably limit flash on websites is the only thing I can suggest.
