Hi, I have come to the end of my contract with Orange with my HTC Desire for £25 a month. Got my pac code. Did want a Samsung S2 but they didn't offer me a good deal.
Now I would like a Samsung s3 or HTC one x ?
Which is better? Have seen s3 for £26 a month and HTC for £20 .
Don't know if i should ring orange as I have 9 days left to try to get a good deal or giff gaff for a few months till prices come down.
Any advice?

I doubt prices will go much lower, it should stay like this for awhile since there isn't anything new coming out

go in to a shop and have a look at both then decide
they are both good phones

agree, go into a shop, at least one will have both working, go into a browser on both, type a text message on both.

see what you think

S3 imo

Have you tried Googling your question? After 360 v PS3 it's probably the most asked question.

Post again OP so I can give you your first 'like' in 3.5 years.

if you look hard enough you can get a one X for £36 per month for 12 months with vodafon

Was hoping to haggle with Orange and get one for less than 20 quid a month.

Have both. One X imho.
S3 may have slightly better specs, but UI Sense > TouchWiz.

Benchmarks don't mean **** in the real world.

Wait for windows 8 phone release, another competitor that should knock the price down a bit ...if Microsoft don't make their usual blunders anyway.

S3.

I've had both in the past and must say the HTC x seems to do as its told. Its silly things like clicking or catching the top bottom and it not disconnecting your phone call, making sounds when its on silent when using the camera - all the little things made a big thing for me and in the end found the HTC x easier to use. I'm a techi and stuff like this drives me mad when someone cant be bothered to put them through testing enough.
I had the HTC desire HD before this and loved that phone as well.
Hope that helps

Phoned Orange. Cheapest they could do was 36 a month. Wouldn't even put me through to retentions as I already have a pac code. Goodbye Orange. Giff gaff time for a bit.
