Samsung Tab S7 FE; a darkish haze over home screen wallpaper?

On our tab, when I look at the same photo in gallery, it's bright and vibrant, but when I set it to home screen wallpaper it appears that there is a darkish haze over the wallpaper. Is this is a setting that can be changed please, or is that just how the wallpaper is meant to look? Thank you.
