Samsung Tocco Lite PINK, contract advice please

My wife says my daughter dropped her phone, which is PAYG and she has her eye on a Samsung Tocco Lite contract phone as a replacement.

Now I have never had a contract phone before so I'm not sure what's best. i have searched and found a deal, £15 & £25 a month for 300/900 minutes and unlimited texts. Both contracts over 24 months. In brackets on the £15 deal it says £10 discount. Having read up to understand it, it does state discount applied for the full term of the contract. Does this mean the £15 becomes only £5 a month for 300 mins and unlimited text? Or is that just too simple.

Can someone advise me on the best deal before I enter into anything. They both offer free gifts, which I'm not bothered about, just trying to understand the deals. They have no number to call for advice as they are online only, but the parent company is carphone Warehouse so they must be ok.

Any help welcomed before I get what she wants, just want to make sure I understand fully, cos they all offer this and that but it's not explained too well, or maybe it's just me!

thanks.

Your plan 300 is £15 for 24 months then £25

Thanks very much. That's easy now

Are they good deals or do you think I could get more for the money?

Its 300 mins and unlimited texts, reduced from £25 to £15

You pay 24 months @ £15 but during the course of the contract you send in your bills to claim your 18 months half price line rental,so at the end of the contract you will have paid £24 X £15 =360 minus 18 x £7.50 = £135

overall total £225

thats assuming you choose the cashback gift,or you can choose one of the other gifts,

Its ok of a deal, had a quick look about, doesn't seem to be really any better offer,24 months is a pretty long contract though, but if your happy with that go for it,you'll get £40 back if you go through quidco too,so that'd bring you down to £185 overall,so £7.70 per month so thats pretty good
