Hey guys,
was just having a look at TVs and found the Samsung UE49MU6500 on hot deals uk at a price of £551.65 after a discount voucher or 15% however ao.com raised the price by £100 to £749 and the code was no longer applicable.
so had a shop around and found the Samsung 49M6300 for £550 at Sainsbury’s and knowing someone who works at Sainsbury’s they can get me 10% off bringing the price down to £495.
Just needed some help from you guys on the difference in spec between the two and if paying £495 for the Samsung UE49MU6300 is a good deal and if you guys have anything better
THANKS A LOT ANY HELP IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

Isn't the only difference that the 300 is flat and the 500 is curved?
Also you sure it's a 49mu6300, can only find the 50mu6300 existing

No, completely different TVs. The M6300 is Samsung's best Full HD TV, although similar to the flat M5500-M5600 models. The MU6500 is broadly speaking a curved version of the MU6400, although I'm not sure if it's VA instead of the IPS the MU6400 uses.

Unless you're mostly feeding it 4K content the M6300 will have the better picture quality, although I'd expect the MU6500 to take the edge when it comes to sound.

I've just looked again and can now see more than 2 model numbers for tvs so I think we need some clarity first

UE49MU6500

49M6300

UE49MU6300 I don't think this one exists

MU is 4k M isn't.
