Sata Port Question

Hello, I have a question about my sata ports. I have an internal hard drive to fit into my pc. I already have one connected this is just in addition. By the looks of it there are 2 sata ports where the hard drive is and the CD drive is fitted is there any other way to connect this additional hard drive? Thanks

You can buy a SATA PCI card but have a good look first as SATA sockets are not always together on the motherboard,

Is there no other way apart from this ?

Have a look on your motherboard they may be some more sata connections on there, mine has 6 , a bunch of 4 together then 2 more in a totally different place

If it is an older board with 2 x IDE ports it could well just have the two SATA, The addon cards are only a tenner at most.
