    Hello Paul.

    hello Paul gotta new party.
on the bright side they may end up with someone suitable for their voters,
    rather than labour's attempt.

Wish Farage hadn't stepped down, but time will tell if Paul Nuttal is any good or not.

Nothing elitist about that comedy speech then. Would have thought Stewart Lee could have done better but appears to be using tired stereotyping to pander to the London centric middle class audience he has in front of him. Must have been having an off day.

London-centric, middle-class, elitist....no lazy stereotyping there then (you left off 'metropolitan' and 'media-elite' and for extra points you could've used the phrase 'up in their ivory towers').

As for Nuttall, he seems to be a peculiar man - wants free markets to enter the NHS, a referendum on abortions, moans about political correctness and is in favour of fox hunting....yet he's vying for the 'working man's' vote. Curious.

If I'd been playing BS bingo I probably would have used all of those expressions, and a few more but I'm not getting paid for this so kept it short.

I watched some of Nuttall's acceptance speech this afternoon, unfortunately I think he is going to appeal to a lot of the people he is aiming at, regardless of his policies.

Where you might be getting confused is that opposing positions on those social issues have been held by politicians who have traditionally been successful in selling their economic policy to the 'working man', not necessarily by the 'working man' himself.

    Hes going after labour voters.

And he's just resigned; that was quick!

    Hello Prime Minister?

He looks like he might be able to handle himself in a fist fight. Might come in handy X)

So disappointed Suzanne Evans didn't win. Absolutely mystified that she lost her deposit!
