I have 2 SCSI drives that I have come across in a obsolete sun workstation. Picture of the top of it is below, but I want to use them in a PC. Anyone know how or if I can do this? I suppose I will need a SCSI PCI card like Adaptec and some scsi ribbon.

Yes a SCSI PCI Card and ribbon should do the trick - I know I have both in the garage somewhere and would be more than happy to post these to you should you need them. Feel free to let me know,

I think there's quite a few SCSI variants but I don't know what compatibility is like.

The other issue is that they may not be using a filesystem that windows understands. Not an issue if you just want the drives but if you want the data on them you'll have to work out how to read that.

I'll check tomorrow what I have and post back - if the card is any good you can have it for free - it's been ages since I got involved in SCSI, so I'll see what i can find
