Seeking the advice of anyone who knows much about camcorders...

    Hi everyone,

I'm looking to buy a camcorder at a fairly cheap price new (£50-£100), unless anyone has something suitable they are looking to get rid of. I've used a DV camcorder before but it seems they are more expensive than the digital ones. I was just after some advice from anyone who might have experience with these. What is the quality like in comparison to DV ones, and is it worth forking out the little bit extra for the higher standard models, and are there any problems with memory etc?
I'm only intending to use it here and there so I don't need anything too flashy but a nice quality picture would be nice.

This is a possible one I have found :
but again I don't really know what to look out for.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Not much good as it has no optical zoom so only any good for close up things. To be honest it wont be any better than what you get on a good quality mobile phone. This might be a better option if you are looking for a compact camcorder though does cost more.

    Remember 5% discount and quidco.
Otherwise there are other larger DV and DVD camcorders about this price.

For £120 could list in the '' for sale '' section a dvd camcorder
