For those who of you who bought spares when they were £25 or who are already bored of the game, CEX have raised the sale price to £45!! hence the buy price has now risen to £29!

Noticed this yesterday, gonna get gamestation to pricematch the £33 trade in if its still there on Tuesday

weird! who is gonna pay them 45 quid for a copy??

I seriously don't know how that company survives! It must be just a money laundering front for crack dealers!

They're just trying to build stock up of that particular game, especially in the run up to Xmas. They raise the price of the game so few people buy it and a lot of people sell it.

The second hand and trade-in business model is very different to a conventional retailer's model. CEX are pretty successful at this if you take shop growth as an indicator of success.

any company that sells for more than they buy is onto a winner.

economics 101.
