im selling my laptop and would like to know is there an easier way of deleting all my stuff off instead of doing it all bit by bit.

Do you not have the 'restore disk'???

    A clean install would help.
But to wipe all data is hard i norm take out hard drive and destroy it with a hammer sand paper and welding torch that works.

    Does not help with resale.

either format the hard drive or restore to factory settings , this can be done by disc if it came with your machine , or it may have the restore partition already on the drive

i know with my acer PC i was given 3 blank DVD disks to create a system restore myself , but my vaio laptop had a system restore on the drive, when booting up your laptop , hold down the F8 button and it will show you your hard drive and partitions on it

remove the hard drive, replace with a new one and install the operating system.

to delete your browsing history open up a web browser go to tools , internet options, browsing history , Delete , then check all boxes and click on Delete , also make sure the delete browsing history on exit is selected , as for the deleting of pics , do as previously suggested....

Pointless trying to remove a hard drive in a laptop if you have no experience as can be rather fiddly on some models

Reformatting wont do , i used a good program yesterday on a old pc im selling, it wipes over the files 3 times or more

Just right click the fie and choose shred, very easy to do
