i am looking into a buying an acer laptop off amazon for 399 but i wont buy it unless i sell my current laptop, to ease the big price tag.

i have currently a

samsung r60plus
no dinges or cuts, just the usual wear on the touch pad
still have the box and all the recovery discs/books
has vista home premium on it
intel core2 duo CPU T5450 @ 1.66ghz
2gb memory
ati radeon xpress 1250
3 usb ports
card reader
6 month old battery as i replaced one that came with it, hold a charge of over 2 hours when fully charged.
bought jan 08 i think
never had any problems with it

would it be unreasonable to ask £250 for it or is that too much

put this in misc as i am not actually selling it yet

The spec doesn't seem too bad but for a two year-old laptop, I would say £200 is about right.

How big is the screen?

I have this laptop it is 15.4" had mine just under 2 years and no problems either , best laptop i have ever had and think £180-£200 is a more realistic price

sounds good why you upgrading. try it on ebay

its mainly due to the crap quality of the speakers really, nothing else. i did have a sony vaio beforehand and the speakers were great. i know you might say to invest in speakers but i dont want to use another piece of electric, the electric is dear enough without adding to my bill.
