Send a xmas greeting to a landline from your mobile. Just remembered about this a minute ago when messing with my phone, send *merryxmas# (as a text) to the landline of your choice to send a little xmas cheer.

Apparently Gmail or Googlemail have just started this, according to my bro in the US. I can't find it on my acct, but maybe the DAMN INTERNET FILTER AT WORK IS KNACKERING THIS AS WELL :x
