Sending a bluray player via courier

In a bit of a pickle. Put up a player on ebay and it surprisingly went for a very nice price.

However, I'm starting to regret doing that since I can't find a single box to accommodate it's size. It has a length of 45cm, width of 20cm and depth/height of 4cm. Not only that I don't have a printer.

Is there an alternate way to ship this from berkshire to essex, not really far but I'm out of options.

Do you not have anyone you can ask for a box as if you can find someone like us that keeps boxes and bubble wrap from just about everything you would be fine. We tend to make up packaging. We would start with a double layer of bubble wrap. Then cut up cardboard to put around and hold together with parcel tape. To make it look better you then use a thick black bag around that.... If you want a box and then any storage company like. King storage. Big yellow storage company will all sell boxes but paying for packaging is a no no in our house. Don't forget to buy postage within eBay for a discount

problem is this box has a length of 45cm. I'm struggling to get a box that was similar to the manufacturer box. If I find a box that is long, it is also tall so postage goes through the roof.

Postage could be just £3.60 with myhermes if I could get an appropriate box!

turn a big washing powder box inside out (brush the old powder off) and rebuild with parcel tape??

for a second i thought you nailed it but the surf I've got just doesnt cut it. This monster bluray player is too long!

think i need to refund the buyer at this point lmao, its just not worth it after shipping.

How about two powder boxes end to end - one cut along the sides so that the other slides over it??
but yeah..it sounds like too much hassle though tbh...

Hi please go to ur nearest currys or asda or tesco. They will give u free n u can choose the box u want. Hope this helps u

Pity it's a bit too far as I have a cardboard box haven in my garage (not what my other half calls it!)

Ok. Last resort. Look up your nearest cardboard recycling point on Internet. Many Tesco. Sainsburys. Morrisons have them. Also a there is local council carpark near me has one so maybe you do to mThey are normally bursting with cardboard boxes. Been dry to. . Help yourself to a box
