I wonder if anyone knows about some services or a suitable point to wait near terminal 4 heathrow airport where I don't have to pay extortionate parking charges like heathrow, driving from junction 9 of M25.

cheers

What abt the closest service station? Shouldn't be more than 5min away
McDonalds on the Bath Road. Just buy a cuppa from drive thru there and sit in car park.
thanks very much guys, really great help you guys are wonderful. It is such a shame that I could only mark one answer as the best.

Now, in a few days, guys at mcdonalds will see a huge rise in sale of tea/coffee or at least traffic in their car park lol.

I will regret my advise next time I don't have a space ;-)
There's a Tesco extra at Stanwell, which is 5 minutes or less from terminal 4 or in Stanwell there is a parade of shops with a cafe and other take aways also less than 5 minutes away. I think McDonald's gives you 60 mins free parking.
There is a Harvester just up the road from Terminal 4, The Bulldog Pub, go I'm there and have a coke, nice big car park also

You get 3 hours free parking at that Tesco. Also the cafe in Stanwell closes at 3 pm when the kebab shop opens. There's also a Sainsburys Local in Stanwell which has a free car park.

Fagg's Road, opposite Hatton Cross station, near the Green Man pub. Plenty of parking spaces, less than a mile from T4.
Same advice for terminal 3?

Same advice for terminal 3?

There's a layby on the Stockley Road that I always use. Approaching the airport junction from the M4 West, take the left hand lane as if going to Uxbridge then at the first roundabout do a U-turn. Layby is just before the traffic lights about 10 mins from the terminals. Easy enough to spot on Google Earth.
