servicing a mower, approx cost

As above, whats a reasonable amount to be charged to service a mower please?

It usually depends on type of mower, ours is petrol and used to cost £30, that was two summers ago though, cos husband does it now instead.

I do my own service, because all they will do is change the oil, spark plug and air filter.
These are very easy to do and only takes around 20 mins. (if you have the tools).
Some companies will clean them and check throtle cables etc.
Ask them what they are going to do before agreeing to anything.

You can buy a servicing kit from garden centres that have all the bits you need in them, if you have a petrol mower

It may be cheaper to buy a new blade.
