Sharing Xbox one games

I am buying a relative a xbox one x for christmas and was wondering if there is a way i can log in with my game pass and pre load my games onto their console. Its going to be mostly used at a holiday home so no online gaming ,but there is a very poor internet connection there if they needed to check in online periodically. They dont currently have a xbox so they dont have a microsoft account or anything. Can I add my digital games to a external drive for them to use.

Only if you game share and don’t take share with anyone else.
You'll need to setup game sharing. As the Xbox at the holiday home will be mostly offline, you'll want to sign into that console with your account and then set that console as your home console. This will allow the console to play your game while being offline.

If you do that, you'll have to be signed in and connected to the internet 24/7 on your other console otherwise you won't be able to play your games.
Thanks for the help. The other Xbox won’t be online and mine is always connected so that will work perfectly for me.
