    buy him a sheep

I know a few dodgy fellows if you need a crook :whistling:

a dressing gown works well, fake beard and a tea towel!

no they dont. i even have to pay £1 to watch the play

Get him a fake toothbrush moustache (ala hitler) then he can be a German Shepherd.

    :w00t:

I did something similar when I was a kid.

From what I remember my costume was a tea towel and belt round my head. A pair of sandals, some shorts, and a horrible old black curtain round my body.

Dressing gown and a tea towel on the head is the usual either carrying a walking stick or a cuddly toy sheep if you have either.
It's the norm to have to make the costume but to have to pay is a bit much there's normally a box for voluntary contributions being held by the kids at ours on your way out.

Home & Bargains & Asda both had angels and shepards costumes - I think £5 and £7,
My daughter was panicking as she didnt want to be a DONKEY.

Tesco have them on sale for £7 .. they get outfit, hat soft toy lamb and walking stick

google bibical shepherds and click images for more ideas
If using a teatowel for head covering a checked or stripy one might be good.
Good luck - sounds like fun. Take piccies.
