Innocent until proven guilty? The Trial and Witch Hunt by the Media is totally unacceptable with supposition and hearsay by commentators, Royal historians and Legal experts without a shred of proof. Unfortunately what we're seeing is the current trend towards a politically correct society that daemonise any individual that is against their leftist agenda. So Corporations and Media outlets especially the BBC having smelt blood, are only interested in destroying the reputations of Celebrities and Royalty to make a newsworthy story. Haven't they learnt from the Cliff Richard or Phone Tapping fiasco?

But didn't Boris Johnson say the royals were beyond reproach ?
Just a little unbecoming behaviour.
Epstein had dirt on someone or a group much higher up then Andrew. I'd put money on whomever it is pressured him into doing the interview and getting the limelight while they continue to clean house.

Epstein "commited suicide" while on suicide watch and the only guard nearby was a mystery guard. Oh and the CCTV footage vanished. All for one of the most high profile prisoners in recent times.

Don't get me wrong Andrew was either involved in some sick stuff or at least knew about it, but just as it's calming down around Epstein he does a internationally broadcast bad interview...

Trade for Anne Sacoolas, fair swap.
Don't forget area 51
Also, don't forget that the OP is a Russian troll. Have you ever seen a more transparent attempt to write colloquially in English?

Not our place to say if guilty or innocent, thats what the police/courts and a jury is for.
Don't do jury service OP.
I don't get his defence, unless he's telling his genuine recollection of events which I doubt. 'Thou doth protest too much' comes to mind. He is saying his friendship is with Ghislane, he wasn't that friendly with Epstein, went to see after 4 years to 'break up' yet arrived with his baggage to stay, the photo is fake and he didn't know Virginia. If I were doing his defence I'd essentially suggest admit much of it, yes he stayed, a mistake but always in the company of others, knew of Virginia as an Epstein/Ghislane aide, didn't have sex with her. Bit more detail than that but not try and wiggle out of everything and discredit the photo etc which we all know is real. Brings a lot of questions for me though... where are the statements of his security personnel? Andrew doesn't just fly off on his own as John Doe in a hoodie and shades, Ghislane Maxwell saw all of Epsteins life, How did Virginia Roberts have a high life travelling around with Epstein, private jets and stuff...where were her family. Lots more questions too but the public are only getting a fraction of this. Andrews account was very badly managed and should have been tested by his staff and lawyers in the weeks before.
Does anyone really care?

Unfortunately there are some real nasty pieces of work in ALL our media, most especially the BBC.
Why did you start a new MISC thread? @omendata

There is an existing thread about His Royal Highness here just a few days' ago.

You stated, "Time is coming for those untouchables to be held to account."

Who are these untouchables, could you name a few, otherwise, how does anyone reply to you how and why time is coming for them?

Quite, there are lots of dishonourable people about, e.g. those executives who just rid of his patronage and his years' of honourable service.

I would consider you are being unfair, picking the category as you did, which are not balanced to represent the spectrum of unwholesome managers, directors and owners as actual controllers of organisations in our society. Also, it is unfair to say "ALL of them".

I would tend to say all categories, even NHS, Oxfam, Tesco, a corner shop, a high street shop, a Patisserie Valerie, church, mosque, local authority, recycling companies and so on across the entire breath of all the categories in our society, there are unwholesome individuals as executives or executors. Many do get away scot free, largely, I think because of their power, and influence, the potential whistleblowers have their lips sealed with their own weaknesses known to the perpetrators (favours).

This happens, because powerful executives always replace decent senior executives, honourable and potential whistleblowers with ones they could control and command for personal gains. That's how they become unaccountable, this area of behaviour comes under corporate governance. With my sample named organisations, there have been corrupt or serious breach of trust in cases of corporate governance, overviews of information are widely available.

Why pick on Prince Andrew, there are far many more of these self-centric executives around reaping large personal benefits, like the ones who were supposed to build houses to solve housing crisis. The executives whose jobs they are to prevent/stop child abuse. The ones who are supposed to provide joined up leadership but opted for disconnecting of the dots in corporate governance e.g. universities executives which disconnect student housing from student well-being and education. These are the new Royals and they are the new Kings and Queens of their territories in the UK: ex-Carillion executives, .ex-Lloyds bank executives, ex-Mid-Staffs Hospital...as for Fred the Shred: he was "King or Prince of Scotland".
omendata23/11/2019 02:25

There really weren't any more paedos than any similar organisation might be expected to have - it wasn't as if the place was full of paedos. The vast majority were fairly ordinary people working in a somewhat extraordinary organisation.

Nobody was 'hidden' -it wasn't as if some people closed ranks or whatever - it was more a case of the whole Beeb system just wasn't geared to cope with anything like that, the truth is nobody knew what to do.

Looking back I suppose leadership could have been better, but the higher up they were the more distant they appeared to be from the rest of the workforce - and the world in general.
It was always middlemanagement who ran the show - thrust into the position as it were by the fact they were led by persons entirely out of touch with - for lack of a better term - the common people/general populace/reality.

Working with the Beeb was like living in another world - very different to the real world outside.
@omendata

You said, "Time is coming for those untouchables to be held to account."

As for holding these people to account, if you want to do this, get a group of like minded friends with time on their hands and apply for a position as a governor in public bodies as a starter for ten, say, a governor in your local hospital trust, or a school for a smaller task. This is to tackle rotten parts of corporate governance, aka, hold executives to account, and to oversee that whistle-blowers , the voices of the "consumers", junior managers and employees are really heard and then meaningful and purposeful actions are taken as opposed to having public relations doublethink/doublespeak take prominence.

For NHS, contact the Governance and Membership Manager, about how to become a governor, a governor's task, one of which is to hold the directors and executives to account. One would need a circle of friends, circa ten friends, who have good knowledge in finance, human resource, management, processes and public policies. These friends' task would be to digest all the documentation that the Governance and Membership Manager circulates to the governors.

Why are you getting so upset - friend of the Royals eh
I don't know if you are conversant with vernacular and sarcasm but this was not meant to be a philosophical discussion in depth it was light hearted and having a laugh but you do illustrate how something on social media can get taken and made into a huge debate. Thats why i gave up facesplat and twatter a long time ago - think about how much time you waste posting on social media - it will be on today and forgotten tomorrow like "tears in rain".

They are outdated and as corrupt as they were 500 years ago
Not remember the names "randy andy" from 20-30 years ago kinda prophetic and if the cap fits.
Have you not read 1986?
Hmm not a fan of Orwell then!

And you seem to be judging me - i have a university degree in computing and electronics so yes am very proficient in integral calculus, statistics and without logical reasoning and would not have got my my PHD in AI and am not one of the proles you seem to be hinting at - you are making excuses and like most fail to live in reality "Daniel"!

I choose Andrew precisely because this is supposed to be the pinnacle of what the British view as their role models - yeah right supposed, if you ask the average Brit or Scot they will tell you off with their heads!
And i have already mentioned all the bankers, lawyers, politicians who are equally as heinous.
The fact is money , power corrupts all who get into power you only have to look at Africa where the laws and strictures by which they live are less apparent than in the West.
I suggest you have a look at all the safe houses the rich and powerful are building all over the world because they know a reckoning is coming - Try googling Steven Huff.

Anyway I digress, I have a rather excellent recipe for Blueberry muffins if you are interested.

Yes well you are better than us all aren't you that comment just proves what i said - friend of the so called royals eh
Cannot let it lie either - sad!

You seem very unaware of the phrase 1% of the population own 90% of the wealth and yet you are a reader of Orwell - You obviously don't learn much or understand much of what you read but you can sure spout a load of horse-ordure can't you!
I do enjoy a good debate but you are one of the trolls who just want to argue and belittle others but hey thats social media for ya!
"Wasting time" - poppycock i was merely doing you the courtesy of replying to your ill informed, pretentious, pontificating and misguided reply old chep!

You also seem to have a problem with the fact I speak sarcastically in Slovak , Czech and a bit of Saris is that a problem for you as well - I can do Italian and French if thats better for you or I can speak in your own home language that is Gibberish if you want - i am not as fluent as you but will give it a go?
The reply was intended as sarcasm as I do live in Eastern europe 6 months of the year and they got rid of their royals a long time ago thank goodness so I have even less fondness for a Germanic pea brained waster who molests young girls and then actually has the hubris to come on tv to try and utilise his miniscule intellect to try and fob off us "proles" eh!

And you even declined my muffin recipe as well - too low brow for you i imagine - prefer the cucumber sandwiches and Bollinger for lunch old chep eh toodle pip!
