Or not lol

I don't think Wispa's are sold as they were back in the day.

Cadbury's have gone all money saving (or so it would seem) and made every other bar that they made that wasn't in the standard Dairy Milk bar form (6 brick like chunks) - so the likes of Cadburys Caramel and Wispa, and have made them the following:

Cadburys Dairy Milk with Caramel
Cadburys Dairy Milk with Bubbles

Same product, same taste, but in the standard brick-like chunk!

I think that's right!

So basically what the link Rayman posted.

What a slow day for news that was if that made the BBC News website!

Why does chocolate taste so much better in shreds or with bubbles in it?? Is it because there's less of it so you appreciate it more??

whispers are near identical to aeros are they not.

In shreds? Do you mean in Flake/Twirl form?

I think with bubbles it's because they melt in the mouth! And they make it a completely orgasmic experience! Oh, and back to reality!

I think you are pretty much right the.capt. But only if it's in bar format as the Wispa used to be like, not the nobbly bar they have for the Mint Aero where it comes sealed in foil type of packaging!

Aeros have big bubble holes in the choccy.

Wispas have teeny little holes, which made the texture kind of fluffy!

Here is the painful truth fizzie...

i phoned ]Cadbury's today to find out where the Wispas have gone. It turns out THEY HAVE STOPPED MAKING THEM ! the last ones were produced at the end of August 2003.
I was informed that they had been replaced by Dairy Milk Bubbly, which is nearly the same thing. ]Dairy Milk is Cadbury's flag ship product and they have decided that the Wispa should be rolled in to that family.

T8RSP, yes. By "shreds" I meant 'flake' and 'twirl' form. Chocolate just tastes so much better when it's small.

I wonder what happened to wispa gold and wispa mint as they were rather yummy.........

much nicer than half the bars cadbury still produce like Time Out or Double Deckers

Although the other day at glasgow airport i seen curly wurly squirlies for the first time in ages so lets start a bring back all the wispas campaign after all they did revive Cadburys Aztec Bars briefly a few years back.....

Not in taste if you ask me - i'd take a Dairy Milk Bubbles (assuming it does taste just like a Wispa) over Aero any day.

Scary thing is my gf and I were discussing what had happened to wispa's only a couple of days ago!

I've always been a major chocoholic and wispas rocked - if you ate an aero - their was a hot/burning aftertaste from the chocolate, similar to galaxy bars. unfortunately I can't eat it any more

If I do my head will fall off - I had to condition myself to think this way, whilst I still had a few teeth left

]this piece of news really helped too

I have the same problem! If I eat Revels, when I hit a coffee one, my head falls off, the wife puts it on ice and rushes me to the habidasher round the corner who sews it back on! Now I have a tattoo on my forehead saying "Please do not feed this man Revels", but I can't see it and my amnesia prevents me from remembering! Note to self: Get tattoo on back of Revel picking (Right) hand a la Guy Peirce in Memento.
