Well I'm afraid I can't compare them to the SE110s as I have never had a pair of these, but I would say that I like the 115s very much. I bought them to replace a pair of e2cs which finally died on me, and I was very fond of those indeed. I reckon the SE115s sound as good, although they do seem a bit more flimsy to me, and the little storage bag isn't as good (not a big deal). One thing about them is that they have an extension bit which attaches on to the headphones to give a longer cable, rather than it being all in one, and sometimes I find it a bit bulky. I would have to say that IN NO WAY would I consider myself to really know much/anything about headphones but I listen to a wide range of music including a lot of classical, and I think the 115s do a good job. Sorry I know that doesn't really answer your question....

edit: I also bought the 115s from that thread, and I reckon that for £40 they were a good buy

they are the replcement entry model and hve changed the sound slightly to reflect a slightly more bassy sound rather than a natural sound like the se110 reproduced, they are also housed in a slightly smaller body.
