Signing up to Sky Internet

We recently had a salesman sell us sky. On the form, we agreed to pay £27 a month (which includes tv channels and phone line). But, to get internet, we have to get a BT line - We're currently under talktalk. The salesman didn't mention that we would have to pay BT to "reactivate" our BT line.

Anyone got any help to avoid being scammed here because we only agreed on paying £27 a month and that's what we want to pay.

Of course this could be reworded as "We did not ask the salesman if we would have to reactivate our BT line".

Buyer beware !!

But we had filled in a form where it said 'how much are you aware and agree on paying' and we wrote 27 =/

Legally I think you may have 14 days to get out of such a deal. I would have a look on The Office of Fair Trading web-site
