Hi all,

Found Skoda Fabia 1.2tsi (90bhp) Colour ed. with 4000 miles on the clock for 11k, and also found Hyundai i20 1.0l SE (99bhp) with 50 miles (brand new) on the clock for 12k. Skoda is ex-demo, both 17 plate (£20 VED for both) and petrol. Rural drives, with some hills and A road commute 25 miles per day return. Looking to keep it for a while.

Really like them both, any advice/opinion.

Skoda. Great reviews and will hold its end value better.

The 1.2 tsi engine has a real kick to it with the turbo very punchy when accelerating so if choose skoda as I had the vw equivalent plus skoda will hold value better

The only issue I have with above two comments is that the 1.2 litre engine has just been discontinued, so now is probably the worst time to get one because at resale people will be looking for the newer 1.0 litre.

Definitely the Hyundai... The warranty alone is excellent.

Skoda 3 years 60000 miles, Hyundai 5 years unlimited miles.
