    Sky 50% off cancelled???

    hey recently got my new sky bill and noticed its not the £24 i been paying last 2months its £77
    spoke to sky who have said as i took the broadband offer(free for 6months) this means my 50% off offer is no longer vaild...

    any help???? lol

    they have told me even if i cancel broadband or even pay for it they cant apply the offer again as no longer exsists

    They have to tell you if it has any effects on your contract. Raise it with a manager and explain that none of this was explained and you feel that you've been misled into paying more than you originally agreed.

    well a manger calling me back tomorrow while he looks into it but not holding my breath

    call the sky number from your services menu, i called that today as i have been charged £129 for the past 2 months!! they have been charging me for multiroom at full subscription price and when i previously called the number from my bill i got put through to their new contact centre in tsc (falkirk) and they were useless, basically told me as i never had it plugged in i had breached my contract :x however i spoke to one of my customers who works there and she told me they will do anything not to give out money to customers as they need to keep their new contract with sky and theyre doing everything to cut down costs (someone even got a disciplinary for giving a customer a £5 goodwill gesture!?) anyway to cut a long story short i waited a month and called the number it gives you under services and got put through to a foreign call centre, the man was really helpful and apologetic and refunded both overpayments immediately....got my £92 back which i thought was gone forever!! hope this helps :thumbsup:

    If not write them a letter saying you feel really pipped off and feel that you've been mislead into the deal and had you been aware you wouldn't of accepted, Yadda, Yadda, Yadda.....

    i tried for months to get money back £140
    despite being promised it back never recieved
    so cancelled and 6 month later i can happily say i dont regret it most of the channels i watch are free anyway

    Send an email outlining your problem to the Sky CEO ([email protected]). They should sort it asap. I emailed yesterday to complain about a missed install on behalf of my sister, she got a responce via phone within an hour of sending the email. Got 12 Months Free Line Rental & 20% Off The Sky Package.

    Seems to work when you take it to the top.
