Okay,

I have had Sky for the last 4 years, so i am not tied into any kind of contract with them.

This was in my housemates name. My housemate has now moved out. You are unable to just change the name on the account. The accoutn needs to be cancelled, then i need to sign up as a new customer.

This wouldn't be a problem, but i am planning on moving out in the next 6 months.

Would i be able to take the sky contract to my new house, and would i incur any charges?

Also, im guessing i would be able to sign up as a new customer and hence be eligable for any new customer deals!?

It does but sometimes you can do it yourself like we did.

Left a bit, right a bit, bit time consuming but £60 is a lot of money if u can do it yourself!!

You can just but a satallite finder for well under £20 that cuts out the guess work
