Sky Box has Stopped Scrolling At Speed ??

Just noticed on my Sky HD box, it no longer scrolls the channels at speed when I hold up or down, I have to keep pressing up or down, which takes an age, wtf has happened !

Thanks but I prefer to have HD, twin tuners and a proper EPG without spending nearly 900 quid for the box and then a few hundred to some dodgy site for illegal access on the off chance it doesnt just suddenly stop working one day .

    Clear off Nigels !

    Anyone have the solution ?

Just unplug your sky box from the mains for a few moments then plug it back in.

This resets it (you don't lose anything like recordings) and it will work perfectly afterwards.

They sometimes need resetting, and it does no harm.

The only exception to this is if yuou have one of the Thomp[son boxes (look on the back label) this is usually caused by a power supply in the box failing. you can buy a kit to fix it yourself or call sky and get them to swap it for a new box for the £69 callout charge.

No.... you don't NEED to have one..... but it helps.

Think of it like having a DVD player that you dont have to only play the 5 films in your collection all the time, and have access to a free lending library.
