Sky Broadband / Line Rental - Will it renew my Sky TV Contract?

7
Found 4th Dec 2010
Just taken out sky broadband unlimited and line rental at a pretty good deal I think, £7.50 per month for unlimited broadband and £9 month for line rental with free evening and weekend calls - as an existing sky tv customer.

Im wondering now though, as my Sky tv contract ends in march, has my tv contract now been extended in line with my broadband, to end in 12 months from now???

As it ends in March and I might have cancelled .....

No it won't have extended your tv contract, but you must have tv contract to be able to keep bb and phone. If you try to cancel the tv they will then say that they have to cancel both bb and phone and charge you for the remainder of the minimum contract for both of them (12mths iirc)
I was able to cancel my sky tv but keep the phone and broadband. Apparently it's a bit hit and miss the sky rep told me, sometimes the system let's you cancel the tv and keep the rest and sometimes it doesn't!
You can have sky line rental and broadband without TV now but you don't get the £5 discount. As for the new contract I'm guessing so. My Dad unknowingly entered into a new 12 month contract when he took Sky BB and Phone
I recently upgraded my broadband to unlimited from the everyday lite. I was told it it renewed my contract for a further 12 months.

I have tv, broadband & sky talk.

Hopefully, it'll be the same for me. It's getting quite expensive now!!
