Sky Broadband max - any good?

Any opinions on Sky Broadband Max? I'm fed up with PlusNets intense traffic shaping and trickle of P2P speeds at least in the hours people can be expected to be awake. Maybe if I pack in my job and have a nocturnal life I will be ok.

So, what's the opinion on Sky?

That will probably have very little to do with Sky and everything to do with your distance from the exchange, line attenuation and line quality. Basically, you'd not see much difference with any ISP.

I have Sky broadband, its very good, so much better than ****** AOL that i used to have.

I had Sky Broadband Max, and always had issues from time to time. Apparently Sky piggybacks onto BT's network, and BT's network takes priority. So, when BT need to improve the traffic through their network for their users, Sky's users suffer.

When I switched to O2 from Sky, my speeds were perfect - same phone line, no changes.

i've had sky broadband max since it came out and at the start i used to have problems but now no problems at all. bt said i would get about 6mb max download, i actually get about 7.2 mb so not bad and i only pay old price which is £10 for max:)

Rubbish, if your on SKY LLU which most are. If your paying for sky connect it's slightly true.
